Brian Shih is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Currently serving as a Build Engineer II at SpaceX since September 2021, Brian previously held the position of Mechanical Engineer at Elevate Technologies, where early product development of a patented electroencephalography headset was driven. At Raypak, Brian designed over 500 components for a commercial boiler product line and utilized SolidWorks FEA Simulation for structural validation. Earlier roles include a Sustaining Engineering Intern at Boston Scientific, where performance of a radiofrequency ablation product was significantly improved, and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Kelvi, focusing on thermoelectric cooler assemblies. Brian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA, completed between 2015 and 2019.
