Casey Searcy has extensive experience in research and development testing, currently serving as a Supervisor Development/Test at SpaceX since May 2017, with a focus on Raptor engine and Starship component level testing. Prior to this role, Casey was employed at National Oilwell Varco from December 2012 to May 2017, first as a Test Development Technician and later as a Field Service Technician, specializing in troubleshooting and repairing complex oilfield drilling equipment. Casey also served in the US Navy from July 2008 to July 2012 as a Machinist Mate, responsible for the operation and maintenance of aircraft carrier catapult systems. Academic qualifications include a program in Field Service Technician at National Oilwell Varco Technical College, along with foundational education at H.B. Plant High School.
