Chad Rider is the Director of Development Test at SpaceX, where they lead initiatives in testing and development. They previously served as a Sr. Manager, Development Test and Ground Fabrication at SpaceX, following various roles including Lead Test Engineer and Manager of Test Engineering. Chad started their career as a Test Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes from 2005 to 2008 and also held a Test Engineer position at Space Exploration Technologies from 2009 to 2012. They earned a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington.
