Christopher Salgado

Christopher Salgado is an accomplished avionics engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and electrical engineering fields. Currently serving as an Avionics Engineer II at SpaceX since August 2020, Christopher has also held roles such as Avionics Manufacturing and Test Engineer and Associate Engineer focused on the Avionics Life Cycle. Prior experience includes an Electrical Engineering Internship at AMETEK Programmable Power, where Christopher contributed to low power DC laboratory projects and gained skills in data analysis and documentation. Leadership roles include serving as President and various positions at the Rocket Propulsion Laboratory and as Projects Chair at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Undergraduate Student Council at UC San Diego. Christopher holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego and a high school diploma from Granada Hills Charter.
