Christopher Tinker

Christopher Tinker is an Avionics Engineer with extensive experience in avionics architecture design, development, and testing, particularly for space missions. At PolySat, Tinker has led projects focused on radiation fault-tolerant embedded systems for CubeSats and coordinated avionics resources across multiple projects. Previous internships include engineering roles at Second Order Effects, Inc. and SpaceX, where Tinker worked on digital design for vision diagnostics devices and backhaul systems for satellite communication. Tinker also served as the PowerSat Onboard Computing Lead at ETOILES, overseeing the onboard computing subsystem for a CubeSat project. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Tinker has a diverse background that combines aerospace and hardware engineering with practical leadership experience.
