Cody Gordon

Cody Gordon is an experienced dynamic positioning operator with a strong background in offshore operations and vessel management. Cody has held key positions at several companies, including Rowan Companies as a Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator, where supervision of dynamic positioning equipment on the ultra deepwater drillship Rowan Reliance was a primary responsibility. At Versabar, Inc., Cody managed dynamic positioning operations for the ultra heavy lift vessel VB 10,000, ensuring navigational duties were executed alongside heavy lift operations. Prior to that, Cody worked at Seadrill as a Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator on the West Sirius and gained foundational experience at United Space Alliance as a 3rd Mate/Bosun. Currently, Cody serves at SpaceX as a DPO, Recovery Specialist, and Water Recovery Lead, overseeing Falcon 9 spacecraft recovery operations. Cody holds a degree in Marine Transportation as a 3rd Mate Unlimited Oceans from Maritime Professional Training.
