Cole Frilling is an accomplished engineer with a strong background in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Cole served as a Teaching Assistant at Case Western Reserve University from August 2021 to December 2022, where instruction was provided on thermodynamics and mechanical engineering lab procedures. Following academia, Cole participated in independent research at NASA Glenn Research Center focused on plug nozzle analysis in late 2022. Currently, as a Starship Engineer at SpaceX since April 2025, Cole previously held positions as a Test & Systems Mechanical Engineer at Rolls-Royce, an Engineering Intern at PCC Airfoils, and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rugged 3D, where innovative projects included designing a quick disconnect wireless delta 3D printer for military applications. Cole earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics from Case Western Reserve University in 2023.
