David Bertram

David Bertram is a senior manager at SpaceX, leading a team focused on the guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) configuration of the Falcon family of launch vehicles. With a strong background in orbital mechanics, trajectory optimization, and control system design, they have held multiple engineering roles at SpaceX, including guidance and propulsion components engineering. David began their career with internships at Pratt & Whitney, where they contributed to control system robustness testing and innovative manufacturing solutions. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.
