Duncan Young

Duncan Young is a Lead Test Engineer at SpaceX, where responsibilities include conducting hardware performance evaluations on the Draco rocket engine and Dragon 2 components, while managing a team of technicians and engineers through test processes. Previous roles at SpaceX include Senior Test Engineer and Test Operations Engineer II. Duncan's earlier experience includes a position as Control Systems Engineer at Berkel & Company Contractors, Inc., where monitoring and control systems for drilling operations were designed and implemented. As President of the Rice Fencing Club, Duncan managed administration, finances, and promotion, along with risk management responsibilities. Duncan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Business from Rice University, complemented by previous educational attainment at the United World College of South East Asia.
