Ed Walters

Ed Walters has extensive experience in materials testing and laboratory management, with a career spanning over a decade. At Laboratory Testing Inc., Ed held several roles, including Testing Development Coordinator, Technical Assistant Manager for Mechanical Testing, and Fracture Mechanics Manager, where responsibilities included developing test methods, managing key customer relationships, and operating specialized lab departments for fatigue and fracture toughness testing. Subsequently, at SpaceX, Ed served as Supervisor of the Mechanical Test Lab and later as Manager of Test Lab in Materials Engineering, where significant contributions included expanding lab capabilities, improving testing quality and reliability, and enhancing integration with ERP systems for data management. Ed began the career as a Mechanical Testing Technician at Stork Materials Testing & Inspection.
