Efaz Muhaimen

Efaz Muhaimen is an Avionics Systems Engineer at SpaceX, focusing on enhancing Falcon avionics to improve functionality and reusability while ensuring safety and fault tolerance. Prior to this role, Muhaimen interned at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, addressing instrument fault monitoring for the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite. Previous experience includes serving as a Technical Project Manager at Rhoman Aerospace, where the development of payload center of mass methods for drone flight stability was led, and roles as an Embedded Systems Developer and Research and Development Intern on similar projects. As Technical Director at No Cap News, Muhaimen oversaw technical projects and developed a mobile application. Muhaimen holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, and a High School Diploma from Granada Hills Charter.
