Eric Doran

Eric Doran is a Senior Manager of Raptor Turbomachinery at SpaceX, where they lead the development, production, and operation of fuel and oxygen turbopumps for the Raptor liquid oxygen/methane rocket engine. Prior to this role, they served as a Manager in Propulsion Engineering at SpaceX, overseeing the development of bi-propellant thrusters for the Starship vehicle. Eric also gained valuable experience as a Design Engineer at Airbus Germany, contributing to the Airbus A380, and as a Senior Research Engineer at Bosch Research & Technology Center, focusing on energy conversion devices. They hold a Ph.D. in Aeronautics & Astronautics and a Master's degree from Stanford University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona.
