Erica Burt

Erica Burt is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in avionics, instrumentation, and control systems. Currently serving as a Data and Control Systems Engineer II at SpaceX since July 2025, Erica previously held the position of Engineer - Avionics, Instruments & GNC III at Blue Origin from April 2022 to July 2025, focusing on instrumentation and controls. Prior experience includes Project Engineer at TTS Energy Services, where responsibilities involved control system design for natural gas power plants, and Controls Engineer at Belcan, managing jet engine controls verification. Earlier roles include Test Engineer at Cobham Mission Systems, contributing to a Boeing air-to-air refueling system project. Erica holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, completed in May 2017, and has also attended the University of South Florida.
