Senior Launch Engineer

Geoff Doback is a skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in launch and propulsion systems. Beginning as a Lead Propulsion Engineer at ASTRO Rocket Design, Geoff was responsible for performing thermal and structural analyses and utilizing finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics on rocket components. At SpaceX, Geoff progressed from Associate Launch Engineer to Senior Launch Engineer, contributing significantly to launch operations from March 2022 to April 2025. Additionally, Geoff held positions such as Lead Research and Development Engineer at iSpyPens.com and Thermal Analysis Intern at Jacobs Space Exploration Group, where contributions included propulsion thermal analysis for NASA's Space Launch System. As a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at Florida Polytechnic University, Geoff developed innovative materials for CO2 capture in space applications and worked as Chief Engineer on a senior design project to create advanced composite jump skis.
