Grant Borman

Grant Borman is a skilled technician and entrepreneur with extensive experience in engineering and automotive fields. Currently a Special Projects Technician at SpaceX since February 2014, Grant collaborates with engineers to advance the mass production capabilities of the BFR and operates filament winding equipment for Falcon 9 rocket components. As the owner of Standard Glacier and Borman Engineering, Grant focuses on environmental engineering projects and affordable composite vehicle construction. Prior experience includes roles as a Floorhand at Stoneham Drilling Trust, Automobile Technician at Tom Wood Volkswagen/Subaru, and Head Mechanic at Fastimes Indoor Karting. Grant holds a high school diploma from Carmel High School and has attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
