Henry Tran

Henry Tran is a highly experienced engineer and scientist with a strong background in chemistry and materials science. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at SpaceX since July 2018, Henry has previously held positions including Sr Engineer at the same company and various roles at Bourns, Inc. from December 2014 to June 2018, where responsibilities included Sr Staff Scientist in Polymers and Resistive Products. Prior experience includes working as a Principal Scientist and Technical Lead at Henkel Electronic Materials LLC, a Materials Scientist at Quallion/EnerSys, and Co-Founder and Director of Research at Fibron from 2008 to 2012. Henry holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry and Materials from UCLA and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
