Jay Lee

Jay Lee is a highly skilled engineer with extensive experience in mission operations and launch engineering at Space Exploration Technologies since February 2013, where significant contributions include the design and integration of various launch support systems and managing project schedules within the Instrumentation and Range Operation Department. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Loyola Marymount University, where work involved developing wireless sensor networks and programming firmware, and as an Electrical Engineer at Pressure Profile Systems, where Jay focused on custom sensor systems and high-volume manufacturing processes. Additional roles include a Test Engineer position at Ortiva Wireless, with expertise in video streaming software and network testing, and a Teaching Assistant role at Torrey Pines Elementary School. Jay holds a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego.
