Jim Muncy

Jim Muncy is a space policy consultant and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Principal of PoliSpace, an independent consultancy dedicated to advancing commercial space. As a Senior Advisor at the Commercial Spaceflight Federation since 2007, Jim provides expertise in space policy and strategy. Previously, Jim held roles as a Professional Staff Member on the Committee on Science in the U.S. House of Representatives and worked for various organizations in government relations, including Masten Space Systems and XCOR Aerospace. Jim co-founded the Space Frontier Foundation and remains actively involved in promoting the human settlement of space. Jim earned a Master’s degree in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
