Joel Lawson

Joel Lawson is a Thermal Engineer at SpaceX, where they focus on thermal analysis for the Starship program. With a strong academic foundation comprising an MSc and PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Caltech and undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Auckland, Joel has developed a diverse skill set. Their previous experience includes roles as a Summer Research Scholar at the Australian National University and as a Product Development Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. Currently, Joel aims to complete their PhD while fostering a passion for the future of air and spacecraft technologies.
