Jordan Thayer, PE, currently serves as Manager, Infrastructure, and previously held roles as Lead Structural Engineer and Senior Structural Engineer at SpaceX since February 2024. Prior experience includes work as a Structural Engineer for Stantec from September 2022 to February 2024 and as a Structural Design Engineer III at Fluor Corporation from September 2019 to August 2022, where responsibilities included structural engineering design, estimates, and construction support. Jordan also operated a handyman business from April 2017 to June 2019, successfully completing over 50 home improvement projects, and held various engineering roles at Berkel & Company Contractors, Kiewit Infrastructure West Co., and PACIFIC AFFILIATES INC. Jordan's foundational experience began as a Wild Life Refuge Assistant with the California Conservation Corps in 2013. Jordan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
