Jose Saavedra

Jose Saavedra has significant experience in logistics and operations management, currently serving as a Logistics Supervisor at SpaceX since April 2016. In this role, Jose manages hazmat, domestic, and international logistics, overseeing outsourcing operations at the primary SpaceX location and standardizing logistics operations across multiple sites, including VAFB, Texas, Cape, Seattle, and Brownsville. Prior to this, Jose worked as an Operations Supervisor at SpaceX from December 2013 to April 2016, where responsibilities included managing 22 employees across various operations and overseeing the Shipping Department. Additionally, Jose served as Operations Manager at Radiant Global Logistics, Inc. from January 2008 to December 2013. Jose holds a degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from California State University, Long Beach, earned between 2003 and 2006.
