Justin Johnson is an experienced propulsion engineer currently serving as Propulsion Engineer II for Starship and previously as Propulsion Engineer for Crew Dragon at SpaceX since August 2019. Johnson has a strong background in rocket propulsion, having led a team at River City Rocketry to design and build a liquid propellant rocket that could lift a 120 lbm vehicle. Prior experience includes an internship at SpaceX focused on the Crew Dragon propulsion system and leading vehicle engineering efforts at River City Rocketry. Johnson holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville, obtained in 2019.
