Kyle Lopez is an accomplished aerospace engineer with extensive experience in fluid systems and rocket propulsion. Currently serving as a Launch Engineer at SpaceX since June 2022, Kyle previously held multiple positions at Cal Poly Pomona Liquid Rocket Lab, including Project Lead, Systems Design Integration Engineer, and Systems Integration & Test Engineer, where significant achievements included leading a successful team to test a rocket engine and developing innovative design tools. Kyle's experience also includes a stint as a Launch Approval Engineering Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contributing to the Mars 2020 mission, and as a Machine Shop Assistant at Ventura Energy Systems, where contributions were made to prominent aerospace projects. Kyle holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the College of Engineering at Cal Poly.
