Lillian Zahn

Lillian Zahn is a mechanical engineer currently working at SpaceX as a Satellite Bus Engineer, contributing to the Starlink solar team since July 2025. Prior to this role, Lillian served as Team Principal and Mechanical and Structures Engineer at Wisconsin Racing, where notable achievements included designing a lightweight rear wing structure and leading ergonomics design for a monocoque/cockpit. Lillian also worked as an Aerodynamics and Composites Team Lead at BiVACOR, Inc., and held internships in mechanical engineering and controls engineering at Boston Scientific and other organizations. Lillian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and previously operated an Etsy store to support college expenses.
