Lucas Weber

Lucas Weber possesses experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at the Florida Space Institute, where improvements were made in the production of Lunar, Martian, and asteroid regolith simulants for spaceflight hardware testing from August 2020 to July 2021. As a Mechanical Engineering Lead at the same institute, Lucas was responsible for the payload integration of the Dust In-Situ Manipulation System (DIMS) microgravity experiment for Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket. In the capacity of Chief Engineer, Lucas led a team to design and manage In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU) testing facilities. Further experience includes a brief role as a Starship Engineer and Launch Engineer for Falcon Fairings at SpaceX in October 2025. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Central Florida and dual enrollment studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, alongside high school completion at Seminole High School.
