Marissa Rosenberg

Marissa Rosenberg is a Senior Medical Research Engineer at SpaceX, with extensive experience in sensory and motion research relating to astronaut health. Prior to this role, Marissa served as a Senior Scientist at KBR, Inc. and the NASA JSC Neurosciences Laboratory, where responsibilities included leading international research studies, developing countermeasures for astronaut sensorimotor disorientation, and securing grant funding. The career also includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the National Space Biomedical Research Institute, where Marissa conducted experiments on balance disturbance and motion sickness. Educationally, Marissa holds a Master of Science in Space Physiology & Health from King's College London and a PhD in Astrophysics from Leiden University, supplemented by a Master's in Space Studies from the International Space University and a Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics from UCLA.
