Matthew Kemmerer

Matthew Kemmerer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as a Senior Launch Engineer at SpaceX since February 2024, Matthew previously held several key roles at SMTC Corporation from November 2018 to February 2024, including Global Director of Value Engineering, where responsibilities included leading global initiatives and steering change management. Matthew also served as Director of Test Engineering, overseeing strategic initiatives and capability development, and as Test Engineering Manager, focusing on test system design and execution. Prior experience includes holding the position of Test Engineering Manager at MC Assembly, where Matthew was a senior technical adviser and developed corporate-wide test improvement strategies. Matthew began his career as a Test Engineer and Intern at MC Assembly, specializing in software development for testing applications. Educationally, Matthew holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and a high school diploma from Bayside High School.
