Matthew Sato

Matthew Sato, CEP, is the Director of Payroll & Stock Administration at SpaceX, a position held since 2019. They previously served as Sr. Manager, Payroll and Stock Administration, and before that, as Sr. Stock Administrator from 2014 to 2017. Prior to joining SpaceX, Matthew worked at E*TRADE as a Client Service Manager from 2007 to 2013 and was a Sr. Stock Administrator at Marketo for a brief period in 2013. Matthew’s early career included time as an Assistant Language Teacher with the JET Programme from 2004 to 2007. They earned a degree in International Business Management with a focus on Business and Japanese from Brigham Young University–Hawaii between 2001 and 2004.
