Michael Howell has a diverse background in military operations and aerospace engineering, with significant experience in both the U.S. Army and the private sector. Serving in the U.S. Army from June 2002 to March 2015, Michael held multiple leadership roles, including 1SG/Deputy Commandant and Platoon Sergeant, where responsibilities included overseeing training, welfare, and morale for infantry units and managing substantial equipment assets. Following military service, Michael pursued a career at SpaceX, starting in August 2020, taking on roles from Integration Technician III to Lead Integration Technician, and currently serves as a Quality Inspector. Prior to SpaceX, Michael was employed as an Aerospace Mechanic at RUAG Space from November 2019 to August 2020. Michael earned an Associate of Science degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology from Eastern Florida State College between 2018 and 2020.
