Michael Rea is a Lead Structures Engineer at SpaceX, where they focus on making humanity a multi-planetary species. Michael earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in 2019, where they co-founded the Loyola Marymount Aerospace Research Society and contributed to the development of the university's first student-built rocket engine. Previously, Michael worked as a Propulsion Development Engineer at Vector Launch Inc. and as a Project Manufacturing Engineer at Northrop Grumman. Currently, they are pursuing an M.S. in Astronautical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
