Michelle Espinal, PE, is a Senior Construction Engineer currently working on the AIMS project at McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Michelle is a dual-degree graduate holding a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Saint Mary's College. Prior to this role, Michelle gained diverse experience as a roadway designer for Parsons Corporation and participated in the construction of a suspended footbridge in both rural Nicaragua and Rwanda. Additionally, Michelle served as a research intern at Notre Dame Global Adaptation Index and completed an engineering internship at Aceitera El Real S.A.
