Mitchel Huang

Mitchel Huang is a Lead Software Engineer at SpaceX, where they are responsible for the software controlling Starship mechanisms during countdown and flight, contributing to the mission of making human life multi-planetary. Previously, they held several software engineering positions at SpaceX after beginning their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft. Mitchel has also gained experience through internships at Huf Group, Stryker, and the University of Michigan, where they worked on diverse projects ranging from automotive engineering to software development for medical technologies. They hold a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical and Computer Engineering, from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Outside of their engineering endeavors, Mitchel aspires to be a musical artist.
