Nate MacNider

Nate Macnider is a Senior Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX, contributing to the production of Raptor propulsion components since June 2015, following five years of experience as a manufacturing engineer focused on Dragon 2 propulsion components. Previously, Nate worked at HydraForce from September 2013 to June 2015, where responsibilities included the production of hydraulic valves and designing tooling for assembly and testing. Nate began the career at Caterpillar Inc. as a Powertrain Analysis Bradley Practicum from December 2011 to April 2013, conducting rotational dynamics analyses for various machines using advanced simulation software. Nate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University, completed in 2013.
