Nathan Kaleida

Nathan Kaleida is a Mechanical Engineer at SpaceX as of December 2023, focusing on Starlink vehicle mechanical avionics and harnessing. Previously, Nathan worked at Blue Origin from July 2021 to December 2023, where responsibilities included structural design and integration for the New Glenn upper stage and payload fairing, along with participation in high-level architectural decisions. Nathan has also served as a Teaching Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, where instruction included hands-on laboratory experiences in mechanical engineering dynamics and reverse engineering. As Captain of Baja SAE at Johns Hopkins University, Nathan led the design and testing of a 4WD off-road vehicle while honing practical engineering skills. Nathan's prior experience includes roles as Treasurer and Mechanical Engineer for the AstroJays rocketry team and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at CubeRover, contributing to innovative designs for lunar rover components. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
