Nico Macias

Nico Macias is a Senior Payload Structures Engineer at SpaceX, where they manage the Falcon 9 payloads hardware engineering team, developing mechanisms that support various company operations from sales to launch site. Previously, Nico was a Lead Payload Structures Engineer, instrumental in the design and implementation of the landing leg leveling system for the Falcon 9. They have also held positions as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at both SpaceX and Draper, and worked as a General Laborer and Machine Operator at SMC Project Realization. Nico earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant.
