Robert Cornwell is the Director, Avionics Core Engineering at SpaceX. The Avionics Core Engineering team forms the backbone of Avionics at SpaceX, and supports Falcon, Dragon, Starship, and Satellites. Robert stepped into his current role in February 2020; prior to this, he was the Director, Test and Lifecycle Engineering, and before that was the Director, Test Engineering, Avionics. He joined SpaceX in 2017 from Bloomy. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Heriot-Watt University.
