Rong Deng is a seasoned engineer with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as a Starlink Manufacturing Engineer II at SpaceX since November 2024, Rong has previously held key positions at Bloom Energy, including Sr. Staff Development Engineer for NPI Process and Staff Process Engineer from January 2021 to December 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Materials Scientist Intern at TE Connectivity in mid-2017 and a Research and Development Intern at DuPont in the summer of 2013. Rong holds a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of Minnesota.
