Sean Busby

Sean Busby is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in automation and controls. Currently serving as a Senior Automation and Controls Engineer at SpaceX since April 2022, Sean previously held the position of Project Manager at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, where project management and engineering for industrial automation were key responsibilities. As the Principal Engineer at Puget Sound Mechatronics, Sean owned and operated a systems integration company focused on aerospace. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Engineer at Concept Systems Inc., specializing in control systems, and a Tool Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman, where aircraft tooling fixtures were designed. Sean also gained managerial experience as the Restaurant Manager at The Paris Bistro. Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in 2008.
