Ted Malaska

Ted Malaska is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in application software and data engineering. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Application Software at SpaceX, Ted Malaska oversees a wide array of initiatives including big data, manufacturing software, supply chain, finance platforms, and various simulation and inventory management tools. Prior roles include Director of Application Software at Capital One, and multiple engineering leadership positions at MetiStream and Blizzard Entertainment. Ted Malaska has a strong foundation in big data architecture, having served as Principal Solutions Architect at Cloudera and Sr. Architect at FINRA, where significant contributions included innovative data storage and processing strategies. An educational background features an MBA in IT/Economics from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and a B.A. in Information Systems and Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
