Tyler Harden

Tyler Harden is a highly skilled propulsion engineer currently serving as a Sr. Propulsion Engineer at SpaceX, specializing in the Falcon components team since April 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing hardware design, requirements, reliability, and performance throughout the component lifecycle. Prior experience at Eaton from July 2017 to March 2022 involved several engineering roles, including Lead Engineer, where Tyler designed outdoor structures and conducted rigorous testing per industry standards. A graduate researcher position at Georgia Institute of Technology focused on stress testing blood clots, while undergraduate research at Georgia Southern University included experiments on nanofluids and biofuels. Tyler holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Southern University.
