Valeria Leon is currently a Graduate Student at the UTRGV College of Engineering & Computer Science and an Associate Materials Engineer at SpaceX since January 2023. Valeria has been actively involved as a PREM Research Assistant since August 2020. Valeria earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on mechanical design from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, completing the program in 2022. Valeria is furthering education by pursuing a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution since August 2022.
