William Seidel is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and renewable energy sectors. They developed performance models for solar power plants at Abengoa Solar and reduced energy consumption in buildings while at Atelier Ten. Currently, as the Director of Starlink Enterprise and Government Engineering at SpaceX, they lead efforts to solve critical communication challenges. William has held various roles at SpaceX, including Senior Manager and Lead Propulsion Engineer, contributing to innovative projects such as the Falcon, Dragon, and Starship. They earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
