Ze Mao has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, with a career at SpaceX spanning from January 2005 to the present. Initially hired as a mechanical engineer, Ze advanced to the role of senior mechanical engineer before becoming the manager of detection infrastructure engineering in October 2014. Prior to joining SpaceX, Ze worked as an engineer assistant at Tellhow Sci-Tech Co., Ltd from June 1999 to September 2002. Ze holds a master's degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, earned between 2002 and 2005, and a bachelor's degree in energy and power engineering from Tsinghua University, completed in 2000.
