Our vision is to sustain our world with trees by integrating thriving human, environmental, and economic solutions.

Spades develops profitable projects to reforest the world. We generate returns with carbon offset credits, timber, and agroforestry, build climate resilience, save habitats, and help communities. Our edge is solving the regreening scale problem.

Our solutions include:

Terrazone™: finds the fit between people and land, deconflicting competing interests for sustainable results.

Ecofit™: biotechnology helps select the right combination of biodiverse local tree species for current and future environments.

Implementation: teamwork with Spades’ staff, the largest tree grower network in the world, and local governments engaged for success.

Balanced financial services: unlock higher returns for investors, donors, and landowners.

Topodox™ monitoring and standards: track project status and results from planning through 50 years.

Spades was initially registered as a Specific Benefit Corporation (known as Spades, SBC) in Minnesota. In March 2023, it converted to a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation, with an official legal name of Spades.Life PBC. It is commonly referred to as “Spades.”
