Alex Pratt

Alex Pratt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2005, they served as a SEAL Officer in the United States Navy until 2010. Alex then worked as an Investment Associate Intern at In-Q-Tel in 2011, followed by a Business Development Associate Internship at Metrus Energy in 2012. From 2013 to 2023, Alex worked at AutoGrid, starting as a Director of Strategic Accounts, then becoming the Senior Director of Professional Services, and eventually the Head of Strategic Business Development. In 2021, they joined The Mountaineers as a Board Member, and in 2023, they became the VP of Business Development at SPAN.

Alex Pratt has an education history that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which was obtained from 2010 to 2012. During the same period, Alex also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environment and Resources with a focus on energy from Stanford University. Prior to that, Alex completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Civil Engineering with an Architecture Certificate from Duke University, studying from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Alex briefly enrolled at the University of Cape Town in 2003. Early education for Alex includes attending Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology from 1997 to 2001.
