Baptiste Ravache has a strong background in research and engineering, with a focus on energy modeling and data analysis. Baptiste is currently working as a Research Engineer at SPAN, where they began in May 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal Scientific Engineering Associate at Berkeley Lab from January 2021 to April 2022.
Baptiste'sprevious experience includes working at Carbon Lighthouse as a Senior Model Development Engineer from September 2020 to November 2020, and as a Model Development Engineer from February 2019 to September 2020.
Before joining Carbon Lighthouse, they spent several years at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where they held the role of Scientific Engineering Research Associate from September 2014 to February 2019. In this role, they were responsible for creating energy models, analyzing data, and developing experimental setups.
Prior to their time at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Baptiste served as a Research Scholar at both Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the University of South Australia. At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, they worked from September 2013 to July 2014, and at the University of South Australia, they worked from February 2012 to August 2012.
Baptiste Ravache began their education in 2007 at INSA Strasbourg, where they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Climate and Energy Engineering. Baptiste completed this program in 2012.
Following this, in 2010, Ravache enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria for a year, during which they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Eco-energy Engineering in 2011.
In 2012, they furthered their education at École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering in 2013.
