Charles McCartney

Charles McCartney's work experience includes holding the position of Head of Strategic Initiatives at SPAN since February 2023. Before that, they worked as an Independent Consultant from May 2022 to May 2023. Prior to that, Charles worked at McKinsey & Company, initially as an Associate from September 2019 to May 2021, and later as an Engagement Manager from May 2021 to April 2022.

Charles also served as the President and Founding Board Member of the Wharton Veterans Alumni Association, a non-profit organization that supports veterans attending the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

In addition, Charles gained experience as a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company in 2018 and served in various positions in the US Marine Corps, including Company Executive Officer, Platoon Commander, and Fire Direction Officer, from 2011 to 2017.

Charles also worked as a Civic Associate Fellow at Civic Consulting Alliance, and as an Intern at Huron in 2008.

Charles McCartney completed their Bachelor's Degree in History at Princeton University from 2005 to 2009. Charles then pursued further education at The Wharton School, where they earned an MBA specializing in Finance and Operations, Information and Decisions from 2017 to 2019.
