Greg Coleson is a seasoned technology leader currently serving as the Sr. Director of Device Software at SPAN, where they manage multiple teams focused on IoT device development. Previously, they held significant roles including Senior Engineering Manager at Google overseeing embedded machine learning for Fitbit devices, Chief Technology Officer at 412 Technology, and VP of Instrument Design at ResonanceDx, Inc., where they developed rapid diagnostic devices. Greg's earlier experiences include directing engineering teams at Teleco and spearheading digital innovation initiatives at Stanley Black & Decker. They are also a founding member of Decatur Makers, fostering innovation and creativity within the community. Greg is pursuing dual degrees in Physics and French from the University of Georgia, alongside a BEE in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
