Jes Parker

Jes Parker, Ph.D., is a Systems Integration Engineer at SPAN since May 2023, with a solid background in civil engineering and academia. Jes served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco, teaching introductory physics with a focus on active laboratory exercises from August 2018 to December 2022. Prior experience includes research at UC Berkeley as a Graduate Student Researcher, where Jes conducted experiments on seismic sensors and developed a Python package for data analysis. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from UC Berkeley and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Jes also held various positions, including Treasurer and Student Researcher.
