Joey D.

Joey D. has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Intern at Areté Associates where they evaluated and implemented imaging technology and methods. Joey then worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at UCLA Center for Embedded Networked Sensing. Joey later joined Lab126 as a Software Development Engineer and played a key role in designing, implementing, and testing the auto-dimming system for Amazon Echo. Joey also demonstrated excellent collaboration skills by effectively working across various teams. After that, they moved to Magic Leap as a Principal Software Engineer before joining Span in 2020 where they currently hold the position of Principal Software Engineer.

Joey D. attended UCLA from 2007 to 2011. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
